Here are a couple of the initial sketches that I lately drew for my latest illustration. Finally, I didn’t get to use any of these ideas but somehow they are both related with the final work that I will be showing at the end of this week. It has to do with a Victorian portrait of an enigmatic well known figure in the spiritualism circles. I wouldn’t want to unveil anything yet.
I know I haven’t been posting very much lately. My recent move to Bellingham has been keeping me very busy and I’ve tried to concentrate so hard in my new illustration that I barely left room for other things. I hope to be back on track from now on and post more often about my latest works. Hope you like this little preview!

O man! I haven’t seen much of your sketch work, this is fantastic! I love these. So much energy and power and personality. Great stuff. Love your pencil line.
They also seem very ap propos for October.
(Have you guys frosted up in Bellingham yet? I think you are colder than we are further down south).
Thanks Eric, what a compliment coming from you! I admire your work so much!
Thanks Tara, yes, October is my fav month of the year and I love to work the most when is rainy and cloudy. Is not so cold though, it’s just perfect for me
