Last week was my birthday and I asked my wife for a photo session as my birthday present. Except for my little experience as a freelance photographer for dance clubs in the early 00’s, I don’t have any training as a photographer at all, but lately I discovered how much I enjoy doing improvised portrait sessions at home. This is the second one we have done, involving Naomi as an improvised model. It is really fun to build the scenarios with a few props and to think of different fashion sets, make up, lighting, etc…
Here are some of the pictures I like the most from this latest sesion. We tried to create a certain mysterious atmosphere inspired in the movies from the 40’s and this was the result.
