Funny how you also have the 'nagging voice' in your head. That's why I like tight deadlines - the 'Oh gawd I must finish this' voice overrides the 'you suck' voice. I also flip my artwork in a mirror, lightbox or, in Photoshop, with the flip command. Flipping is an old trick I learned from comics and it works wonders.
